This Used To Be My Playground

Time and oceans, rivers, work, and the dogged determination to make  more of myself this week than last, has kept me away. Vanished I was, a good word and true.  However,  it was sad to see this blog so easily relegated to a metaphor. Who’d  have guessed? Everyone,  you say? Ah, of course.

This used to be my playground, and should I ever get the energy and desire to play again it is here that I will frolic. I’m working up to it. I hope this jumper cable of congealed thoughts  ignites more than the trite metaphor of an old Madonna song.

I’ll be around for awhile, a quick trip to NYC  on Friday (PINK)  and maybe some days off for meditation, but I’ll be around. Maybe even posting.

  1. We saw Pink a couple of years ago. Good show. When you come through Miami again give a call,

I can’t remember my blog password so I’ve given in up, more or less.

  2. Whatever. I have missed you.
From barely 19 year old girl/college student with a blog to today, you have always enriched my life and my blog reading

      • Huh… I used to get notified of responses to WordPress comments in my email.

Even listening to Pink at home with friends can be like a celebration. I can only imagine what a live show would be like.

I’ve been modeling for local art classes and volunteering for political campaigns (currently splitting time between the US Senate special election and the Boston mayoral race, where one of the candidates, Bill Walczak, is actually a friend of mine).

This summer, a friend and I are going to start getting serious about our music and hopefully make something of it, and I’m also working on a website that has had so many false starts that I almost feel like I’m writing a bad check whenever I talk about it. But I promise it’ll be awesome if/when it ever happens

  3. I rather miss my own dellusional pretention of dysfunctional Court Jester here in Wonderland. The idea of ignoring you while sipping your favorite alcoholic beverage laughing at me doesn’t seem satisfying enough, but neither would insults. In this world where everyone is safe not to share – cheers!~
