I got an “Urgent message from Hugh Hewitt” email today.
Hugh Hewitt is so upset about the young people of America’s fascination with Obama he is sending notices to his readers about his “Letters to a Young Obama Supporter“. He explains all his concerns in these letters. He so wants to save America he is is offering those letters in a nice little package ( a $66 value for only $34.95), and you’ll even get 12 months of Townhall thrown in. He hopes you act quickly, subscribe and get all three in your hands before it’s too late. .
What a peach he is.

Those people still don’t get that most people now can read a the news and research everything on line, so it hardly matters. Most of what is out there is just the queen bee gathering her drones or entertaining punditry. Most blogs suck no matter what genre they are, even the ones written by people who have some journalistic skill and no agenda. Some good points made though.

I do read Science Blogs routinely, and I have read Pharyngula
since I first started blogging. For those of you so inclined and with decent credentials ( just kidding), feel free to help out a science blogger in the name of common sense.
You will have to read the whole story, which I am not going to post here as I’ve been following it for some time. It involves a witch burning campaign that stems from being rude to a cracker ( The Eucharist ).
If you haven’t read Doug’s splendid prose ( Open letter to the cowards, idiots and reprobates in the U.S. Congress), do so.
