I’m gonna break out into a Jacob rendition of “Those Were The Days”.
Friday is a rushed night for us, and by midnight we are in bed. End of the week, quick dinner out with the kids and home to collapse.
Rarely do we go out Friday evening, especially in cold weather, but we make it a point to do something that requires a babysitter, at least twice a month on Saturday evening, unless we are at the Eastern Shore place.
Enjoy the ability to go out late on Fridays, those were good times. jacob recently posted..The Spitting
I’m usually up pretty late Friday nights. Up, not out. Although for some reason TruTV hasn’t been showing Forensic Files much lately. It’s really starting to cramp my style.
To be young again, with friends not all married with kids and boring conversations about their kids doing stupid things.
I miss being young when things were new. Bennet recently posted..I Blinded Him With Science
No, it can. I see this effort as trying to delude one’s self into feeling original.
Life is like a box of chocolaty covered reruns again & again.
Perhaps there is new, but in very small doses in comparison. Bennet recently posted..I Blinded Him With Science
I like Friday nights because I know I have two free days in front of me. By Saturday night I know it’s only one, at least usually. kait recently posted..Bodkin Spring
I liked Thursday night. Friday night was too packed. But every night was good. I feel ancient saying this but then I look at Eric and think it how wonderful it all was and feel sort of hope for my future. Apropos of

Nothing happens until after midnight when you’re young.
This is true.
Right, Joe. And at my age midnight heralds the third hour of sleep with revelry.
I’m pretty certain from past postings that you have been up later than that.
That is why I go to work so late. ;)
I like this version. I’ve heard the more honky tonk original too, and this is better.

I don’t like the honky tonk version at all.

I love the moderators voice on that show, it lulls me to sleep.
I would have liked this better if I weren’t so old, and remembered Budwiser using this so much for heavy promotion.

awwww.
You can still find new things Bennett. May be it takes more effort. I don’t know but everything can’t be old after a certain age.
Can it?

That’ true. It’s probably why Friday’s seem better somehow.

I’m so glad, I’m so glad, I’m glad, I’m glad, I’m glad (repeat 20x).
