Midnight Madness

I still stay ditch the health are plan(s) and start from scratch, and with national health care this time. Barrel it through, using blackmail if you must. Making it the only thing you do before not getting reelected, because reelection is doubtful. The country is slightly insane and much of it is broken, and still unemployed.

Oh yea, if you’re not going to skewer Toyota for lying, and probably illegally hiding all those life threatening problems — for what 4 years, or chastise the governors or politicos from the states where their US factories are, for protecting them, at least go easy on that guy who is a little short on his income tax payments and unable to come up with the money right now.

In a time when McCain’s agenda is considered radically progressive and Lady Gaga decided to sport the dick so many insist she has, I don’t much care any longer. Maybe it’s the broken wrist, maybe it’s that the United States still hasn’t won a gold medal in Nordic Combined, or because Latvia lost to the Czech Republic in Men’s Play-offs Ice Hockey Qualifications. I sit and wait only for the colder than average, disagreeable, month of February to depart, and for March and it’s madness to begin.

I follow college basketball only during the madness when those around me, my entourage (my court), become obsessed. A forced following it is, with many yawns. I wrote a poem here a couple of years ago titled Not Poe’s Madness Mine. Strange it was.

I find many strange things in the far back pages of this blog. You should visit there sometime. It’s like looking into the mind of a fledgling psychopath.

  1. OK, my lovely, can we agree that in the future Malkin links will be properly labeled as such so people will understand the risk that they’re about to read Michelle Malkin? As far as I’m concerned, you owe Toyota an apology.

  2. I love Lady Gaga and fledgling psychopaths.

Hey Toyota is on ” The Hill” saying they are sorry and will try to do better.:)

  3. McCain and progressive – in Alice’s wonderland maybe.

I love your old stuff and that poem does verge o, madness it’s why I’m here.

I agree on health care though I have posted about the campaign that is taking place today- check it out I think it’s important.

    My wife likes the gaga.

  4. My lovely? My Doug’s turning Elizabethan.

I’ve turned around on health care and want it begun over as long as pre-existing conditions end immediately and my 37.6% premium increase is decreased. Selfish I know but I live in fear of getting sick and losing my assets and becoming dependent on the government. However I’m basically optimistic so maybe baby

I can’t wait for March either. they say this is the coldest winter anybody can remember. If we’re in for an ice age…..

Anybody asks, this is why I adore you, you no longer fledgling psychopath. Funny I was going to plug my old posts today but the dementia…

    • So when one is no longer a fledgling psychopath that means she has graduated to full fledged status? ;)

      • If you’re truly Doug’s “my lovely,” then we’ve all graduated to full fledged psychopath status. Aren’t we all mad around here? I have to find a looking hole to go down

  6. I feel selfish now because I teach and have really good insurance. Entering into grad school while working full time is the only way to keep it. I know too many people struggling with large degrees, no job, and no insurance. I think we are quite possible screwed for life. I try not to think about it.

Psychos and back pages – it’s all good between friends.

    • I try not to think about it as well only some of what I do is directly related to it. Keep you job.

“Psychos and back pages — it’s all good between friends.” Isn’t that the truth.

  7. Write what you will but you do not strike me as a psychopath.

The pennsyltucky guy who flew his little airplane into the building in Austin? Yep, he’s a certifiable psycho. You however… nahhhh, yer not.

February will be over soon… tundra swans are starting to show up at Middle Creek. Spring is around the corner.

  8. Considering how much is not getting done, I say let temp staffers run all politician work, and if they mess up they get their pink slip that same week, with no chance of re-hire….EVER.

I remember most of your old posts, and you’re clearly not a psychopath, and having met several, trust me that you are not.
I could be a sociopath, since I am squeamish about bodily fluids, however having felt rage about never having an adequate outlet to entertain I am often angered when I witness TV, radio, YT vids with people attempting comedy but so dulled. It is then that I wish I were a scanner from the 1981 movie & I could make their heads explode when I see them.
But no, you’re not a psychopath.

  9. No sense quietly going insane, no sense being psycho unless you show it. So don a tu tu and dance around town. Just make sure it is all fun.

  11. I love Gaga because despite the performance art she can sing. It makes the rest tolerable. Same reason I read fledgling psychopaths

  12. Well, I tried commenting earlier. Apparently the process is too complex for someone of my ability.

I’m not sure what is says about me that of all the links, I clicked on the Lady Gaga one first. Actually, let’s not even analyze that.

I knew you had an entourage! I just knew it!

    • As I stated I prefer to cal it a court. And because I’m sure you’ll be confused – it has nothing to do with basketball or march madness. ;)

  13. The last two paragraphs slay me but I’m easy.
I love watching Gaga but I am afraid that eventually her performance art will obscure the fact she is really good at what she does otherwise.
