But for The Roots who would watch late night television? Conan hasn’t been this funny in years, conflict is good for him. Jay Leno makes me want to puke.
You are right I only started looking at it again when all this started.

I find the situation more entertaining than either of them.
I am usually in bed by 11:30, have never liked Leno so I wasn’t about to watch him at 10PM.
I can see both sides, but Leno does seem to be drawing the wrath of Hollywood, on the other hand Conan has failed at his job and is walking away with reportedly over 30 million dollars. Nice.

I actually kinda like Fallon, the rare nights I remember to watch. He’s the voice of a new generation. MY generation.
OK, maybe not, but he does like Saved By The Bell, so I figure we’re at least around the same maturity level.

Leno is a Robot and not even a cool one.
I never liked Leno, but its TV. I hardly ever watch, but I at least with Conan I gave it a chance.
Conan is funnier than Leno. More dynamic, more humbled. Not that everyone should be that way, but I admire that, personally.
$40 million isn’t exactly a bad parting gift. I wish people paid me 40mil to leave.
