Dr. George Tiller was Shot to Death today. Tiller, a Kan­sas phy­si­cian, per­for­med late term abor­tions, one of the few phy­si­cian in the country to do so. He was found not guilty in March in a poli­ti­cally moti­va­ted trial where he was char­ged with 19 mis­de­mea­nors stem­ming from pro­ce­du­res he per­for­med, and in another poli­ti­cally moti­va­ted move, imme­dia­tely after the jury pro­noun­ced him not guilty, the state’s medi­cal board announ­ced it was inves­ti­ga­ting alle­ga­tions against him that were nearly iden­ti­cal to those the jury had rejected.

So much for not having our own ideo­lo­gi­cally roo­ted terrorists.

Ever­yone has their saviors, and the 10 and 12 year old rape/incest vic­tims Dr. Tiller per­for­med late term abor­tions on had theirs in doc­tor Tiller.

Now he is a martyr.
