My mid-day belch here, reminding you that April 4th is International Pillow Fight Day.
When I was at NYU the pillow fights were held at Union Square which until my final year, when I moved to SoHo, made it convenient to my dorm. This year, due to construction in Union Square, the green market is operating near the former pillow fight area, and to prevent damage to the small businesses the pillow fight has been moved to the ever fulsome Wall Street. How Sweet is that? Not to mention Bail out the People’s 2nd day of events is taking place at that location, their National March On Wall Street is at 1PM, (the pillow fight is scheduled for 3PM). This is also the anniversary of Martin Luther King’s assassination.
You can’t beat chance?
Check out the links at the site for a pillow fight near you, it’s going on from Moscow and Krakow to Christchurch and Santiago.
Should Be Famous has another poetic famer, MoJo has graciously donated a poem from his earlier days, so check it out, and don’t be shy about submitting your own.

I think Dmitri Martin put it best when he described pillow fights:
Man vs. Woman = Fun
Man vs. Man = Gay
Woman vs. Woman = Awesome
Man vs. Pillow = Crazy
Pillow vs. Pillow = Crazy Awesome
and
Goose vs. Goose = A fight before they were pillows.

Sounds like fun, the Wall Street one for sure, my son would love it. How many people take time out from work to go to a pillow fight? Maybe something like that should be mandatory every so often.
