    I’ve been to Japan in passing several times over the last 5 years. I’ve never heard much political talk in general conversation but since the election I’m back, and that is all I hear. They have their own obamamania. From what I’m hearing they won’t need to advertise those books here. This is the first time I’ve heard general Japanese conversation badmouthing Bush. It’s as if they were too polite while he was in office.

    They do have better manners than we do.
