Is there a means to motivate a generation, not sure. I think there is too much group think already, and each person needs to develop their own best qualities without assuming a role or characteristics assigned to them by some random marketeer - yes I meant eer.

The problem is that though most of the cups are stated to be re-usable they break down, which is why they need to be replaced every so often and the break-down occurs inside your vagina. This according to my gynecologist.

Like I said there are other issues with much larger impact on the environment which have not been addressed on any level, and though I feel organic tampons with no applicator are a good choice I personal would not be comfortable wearing a pad of any kind cloth or not.

It's sad that anyone would be so grossed out by their own bodies and its natural functions that they can't even bring themselves to consider cloth sanitary napkins or the re-usable non-toxic cups. What's "gross" is sticking a bleached piece of factory fluff inside yourself, putting yourself at risk for TSS (which is not associated with the cups), then throwing the whole thing away and forgetting about it, leaving it to end up in towering landfills where OTHER people and animals have to deal with it. (This is not intended directly to the writer of the blog post but to some of the comments.)
