Though I like inhabitat, a blog I’ve been reading thanks to both Kait and John, I found it interesting that they have a seperate gift guide for boys and girls.
The girls list containing this dollhouse from playtoys.

The boys list containing the PedoBike,

and a cool give a goat suggestion.
I know which gift I would have preferred. What about you?
I was pleased to see a link to Escama Studios, a San Francisco based company that works together with Brazilian crafts co-operatives to create a new breed of alluring fashion accessories. The wearable works of art adapt traditional crochet techniques with recycled aluminum pull-tabs.
There is even a tutorial on crocheting with pull tabs if you are the creative type.
There’s an link there to She-bible, which Kaitlyn featured on Dark Black Dress today.
Another San Francisco based company, still run out of the homes of the founders, a lot of cotton – and I’m a cotton lover. It looks like a winner to me.
peace

Thanks for the link. ;)
I love those purses, won’t attempt to make one, but I can see purchasing one.
I want the bike too. Would have wanted the bike I should say, it wouldn’t work now.

They look nice in the full photos.
Everyone wants the bike.
I like the dollhouse. It looks like something we had for something called “little people” when I was young. That wooden bike wouldn’t hold up very well. They seperate them to market them better, that’s the only reason. They do it because it works. Parents still think that way.

Goat, definitely. Kids and goats have a lot in common.

Only the goat doesn’t go to the kid.
Though that’s a thought to.
I guess I’ll have to answer the bike.

I bet that didn’t take long to figure out.
The goat is the best bet around, the bike second though it’s more of a novelty – are those wooden bikes utilitarian?
I can make things out of pop tops, never tried a purse – probably never will. Innovative. They look pretty nice in the up close pictures. I wonder if they are noisy?

i don’t know how sturdy they are and what about splinters?
