Not really. I’m not I’m an old soul in a young bod, but it is Old School Friday and the theme is Neo Soul.
Not really clear what Neo-Soul is except a rebranding of soul, differentiating it from old soul by giving the natural progression of it a new name.
My choice would have been Raheem DeVaughn, he rocked the house when I saw him in June at Merriweather Post Pavilion, but the rules say Old School is prior to 1999 so I’m going with Jamiroquai ( (I know this is debatable) An old high school stand-by. And Jill Scot because she has been around long enough and I love her.
Couldn’t find the video I wanted, so this is the next best thing.

Jamiroquai was big for a very short time but long enough for me to get one of his CD’s. Don’t know what happened to it or to him. Not a bad choice.

I like the choices. I like most music, it’s not too hard to please me.
