I.M. Dedd is Not So Much
My old blogging friend I. M. Dedd, (Paul Malden for the purposes of this), submitted a cartoon to a national contest and it was selected as one of 12 finalists! The contest was sponsored by the Union of Concerned Scientists and the topic was: “How Government Interferes with Science.” Hundreds of entries were submitted nationwide and were judged by a panel of prominent cartoonists including Wiley Miller (the creator of Non Sequitur) and Pulitzer Prize winner Signe Wilkinson (Philadelphia Daily News). The 12 finalists will be featured on a 2009 calendar from the UCS.

For those unfamiliar with I.M. Dedd, he ran a the great political cartoon blog Dead Guy Lives until November of 2006 when much to the dismay of many he left the seemingly increasingly manure filled pastures of the blogesphere for places more pristine.
Rumor has it Dedd will be back on the blogging air waves soon.
I encourage you to go to the link and vote for #9 Paul Malden. It takes not a minute to vote for # 9.
Peace
This is another public service announcement.

I was going to vote for Paul Malden but unfortunately that site requires my name & home address which makes me kind of nervous.
Makes me think I’m asking for more Jehovah’s to ring the door bell.
I enjoyed his creations quite a bit.
OK, I voted anyways, but if creepy weird guys start calling me I’ll hold you responsible
Good and thanks Bennett.
I voted, but for some reason I left the “t” out of my email. It still worked as far as I know.
The cracker thing cracks me up. In a sad sick way.
I doubt a missing letter will hurt. I’m sure there’s a geser at gmail. ;0
That calender things is quite an impressive win. Done. I remember the dedd.
I’m grateful.
I know that was beyond lame.

#9 is my lucky number :)
Thank you Kim. Let’s hope the 9 luck spreads.
I voted the other day and should have put it in my blog. but I’m rather self centered these days
Do hope Paul wins
