I know, I know, young women should be online moaning about how their boyfriend cheated on them, worrying about their “too fat” size 34 hips, talking about their clothing, the new Prada bag their roommate borrowed and soiled, or how life just isn’t fair. Somehow that never did it for me even at age 12, so if this bores you move along.

Shepard Fairey Screen Print

This splendid Frank Shepard Fairey screen-print, found thanks to Individual at Home. Sadly, it’s already sold out, but it’s worth a look, as is the post which comes with it at Obey Giant.

The posters sold out to the point they actually have to provide refunds to some people, so yay Obama. There is a downloadable black and white version of the poster made available here, or from the Obey Giant Site

If you fail to go to the site, and you should go to the site it is awesome, the following guidelines from Obey Giant apply.

If you are still interested in helping get the word out we have made a Downloadable Version of the OBAMA paster so you can print out your own paster to put on the streets. To download the image please right click here and save it to your computer. This downloadable image is not to be used for merchandise or any other profitable means and it is a copyrighted image of Shepard Fairey and OBEY GIANT ART. Make sure you hit the streets before Feb 5th!

This Marvy video thanks to Marvalus One at Opinionated Black Woman

Let’s not kid ourselves, it is not only the message we choose, it is the messenger. We can get both right.

Peace

I’m coming around to Obama, may have to get one of them there
signs you have on the side.

Great screenprint, too bad it’s gone.

Sorry about your dos heart attack. I don’t think free wordpress blogs are subject to such malicious acts.

I don’t make many enemies on line anyway. I’m rather chill, unless you consider the dude I had an argument I had with some dude about Bamboo not being the most eco-friendly of woods long term.

One more thing, I love this comment edit thing.

You are good either way, but so much better with your bitch on.

So, the Republican Party in California is refusing to let independents vote in their primary which might very well mean your Dawg casts his ballot Tuesday for one Barack Hussein Obama.

Good Stuff Cooper,The Print and the You Tube Video, they have it on his site now. I’m fresh off a Tiger Woods win in Dubai and heading to a Super Bowl evening.

I have already decided a change is what we need, and as soon as I can figure out how to get that Obama sign on my site it goes up.

What spell have you wove? Getting the Dawg to vote for Obama?

I wish you lived in New York. I fear that many people will vote for Hillary forgetting that she never represented the interests of downstate New York. Yes I harp on that–as it’s true.

Once more Frank Rich gets so many things rigth. Feel like his biggest shill

oh right–re that first paragraph. I like you because you don’t care about those things

Somehow I feel that next year many people won’t be able to afford designer bags so the spill will be a non issue

this year will be our tulip economy year. Whoever becomes president will inherit the biggest mess of my lifetime

I hope it’s Obama as I know he’s factored that in–the others all believe in magical thinking

Never understood why you didn’t talk about your boyfriends more often. ;)

Good statement, and that screen print wold be nice to have in a t-shirt.

Whoever produced that piece of work , the video, knows there job, it is spine tingling.

OT: If you still lived in NY you’d be partying tonight.

G Coop I can be so slow sometimes… thanks a lot for the kind follow-up. I also thought the poster is awesome and the message is right and well focused. BTW, I am just a “far away” Israeli but from where I stand it looks like if elections were made online Obama would have been the next president of the United States… could it be..??!

That is an awesome poster. I was not sure about the whole Oprah endorsement act, but I think Obama is the man.

People, not bloggers, have been emailing me the downloadable Obama poster

Yesterday my friend and I ran into a huge Hil-a-ray demonstration. My throat still hurts from our two person O-b-a-ma counter demonstration

Was told that downtown was filled with Obama supporters. Hope so. Have lost faith in just about everything
