Leaving Expurgatory.

Though unable to extirpate my computer compulsion I did successfully manage a degree of expurgation. Leaving the computer packed for close to six full days was nowhere near as hard as I thought. There seemed to be no way to extenuate the use of my computer, and strangely enough no desire to do so.

I flew home. The airport was rather dicey.

My, quite alive, fish are happy to see me.

I’m off to get my “blogging bearings” back.

Peace.

  • Welcome back.

  • Always glad to have you back. But happier that you could extirpate your computer compulsion. I won’t begin to analyze your first couple of sentences though it is tempting

Once I move I won’t see my computer first thing every morning, and know that a large part of my computer compulsion will be excised.

I kept changing the bottom of my post so it was confusing

  • I could ask questions about “ex compulsion”, but only if I succumbed to the temptation that pia successfully resisted. So I won’t.

Good to see your smiling photons again. And glad that the fish made it. That’s more good luck than I’ve ever had with goldfish.

  • Truth be told, I cleared out the dead ones and put some new ones in.

Coppers busted me, but I showed them some of your lately melancholic posts. They ended up paying for the goldies when they saw what a Samaritan I am.

Mayor’s giving me an award. Crud, I hate publicity.

  • Sweet. Glad you found you could do it, too! And it’s kinda cool how even after a break I can slip back into the blogging world pretty easily (well besides the fact that my google reader screams 1000+ at me), haha.

  • Yeah when i go to visit my Sis in South Dakota i try to stay off the Puter – it’s not EZ*

but it’s nice to take a break + come back Refreshed*

    ;) )

  • Welcome back to the warren. You’re right on time.

  • Coyote: Thanks Mikey. I hope yours was grand as well.

Pia: A group exorcism? Your place or mine?

OC: I’m glad your glad, and I do believe I am now the fish queen. At least for another few days.

Protagoras: Still, after all this time and not knowing who or what you are you do make me laugh.

Joanne: There was a time not long ago when it would have been much stranger to post during a break from life, now it is more odd to not do so. However I was with someone all the time and it would have been a tad disrespectful to use the computer while spending time with people I rarely see, this made it easy.

Billy: Yes it is, but I am still searching for the refresh button.

Doug: I am nothing if not punctual even if that wasn’t among “P words”.

  • extirpation = overrated, but necessary for a life conducive to a state in which peace of mind is possible.

Does blogging give you peace of mind cooper?

  • This is a very cool place too.
    I love it!.

    Am from 20SB.

    =)
    Have a nice day,

  • welcome back Cooper !!!
I’m not supposed to be computing (officially) until the 1st December….but what the heck……
I once lost 2 goldfish when I went away for a weekend….my budgie killed them by drowning in their bowl……. :(
