Show Me Your’s

The beginnings of weeks are strange, neither hopeful or hopeless, just strange.

I get violin music this week, so I’m good. If the sound of a bow upon strings, a gin and tonic (Blue Sapphire and hit the rocks with the gin first please), a run in the woods, and a good book made perfection life would be much easier. That phoenix is not found in those things alone is just a flaw on the ass of life if you ask me.

I read a post yesterday where someone was having a whole week of only posting positives. I lost the link when my Firefox browser went haywire again, and I had to completely delete it and reinstall it. I thought I’d saved my bookmarks but I didn’t and every last bookmarks, hundreds of them, are gone. The point is, I can’t link to the place the thought came from, but I’m going peaceful this week anyway. I just hope something doesn’t happen to get me totally miffed.

Helena put out a tag to me which asked “show me your desktop”.

You can do a screen capture by: [1] Going to your desktop and pressing the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key). [2] Open a graphics program (like Picture Manager, Paint, or Photoshop) and do a Paste (CTRL + V). [3] If you wish, you can “edit” the image, before saving it.

For MAC users: Press [ Apple] [ Ctrl ] [ Shift ] and [ 3 ]

This was mine at the time.

  • JFK 2006, hours before flying to Boston for the week.

It’s probably the only artsy picture I’ve ever taken. LOL

  • Sorry here it is…

    Desktop

  • If you need tech help btw, just ask me, I’ll be glad too. usually. maybe.

    Okay not really but hey.

  • P.S. your desktop sucks lol

  • very peaceful desktop Cooper.….
I took mine a while back as part of a tag too

    Desktop View

good luck in the webawards…I have been putting my votes in for you.…

  • Nope, sorry. My virtual desktop looks like my real desktop. Neither is a safe place for casual visitors.

    ;)

  • Either the comments haven’t worked for a week or I just remembered how. I’m pretty sure I’m embarrassed anyway. I could be positive all week if life weren’t short. I’m embarrassed again because I just upgraded to a new OS and I Still have the boxed desktop up.

  • posting positive for a week? wow. there’s a brave blogger somewhere and I think it is yobachi at blackperspectives.net

  • I have a blog so I can get out the negative. Thus my real life is filled with positivism

I actually can’t believe the post I posted yesterday – between my friend being sick and me losing 1.45% of my portfolio – I was a wreck. Since made most of it back and know enough never to freak but…

I save all the things I don’t talk about on my blog for yours

of course the screen shot didn’t work – have a picture of a glass table with glass items, an amazing kaleidoscopic and picture of moi on it

Firefox never gets wonky – hope it’s not catching

  • I keep hearing loud horns in my head from this song: Polaris , by: Bostich
    And it won’t stop.
I do know some of what you mean about the flaw on ass of life.

I stopped using desktops because they distracted my imagination, so I keep it all plain black & keep all of my icons in the auto hidden tool bar…

I keep voting each week. I don’t know if it’s helping.

I like the new look, it’s very nice. Very sophisticated.

  • Dammit, I hate re-typing a comment I actually web searched for… here goes attempt #3..ain’t doing a repasted web search on this try either, sorry

I like the page, is very sophisticated..

Uh, violins aren’t so bad, since I keep hearing horns…& I keep my desktop plain black with nothing , unlike my coffee.

  • mojo: I like it.

oldsoul: that doesn’t surprise me.No mine doesn’t suck.

Laketrees: lovely one. It’s interesting to look at them and see if that is what I wold have expected from others.

oc: Well then, tell quillly to send her desktop. Does that mean yours is perfection or a scattered mess?

sk: Yes it was yobachi and the guy he linked to whose link I saved on my browser before I had to uninstall it. Thanks for the mind juggle.

Pia: I’m glad you got everything back. I alway put my papers on a flash drive just in case.

Bennet: I sometimes go the plain black route myself.

When you put a link in a comment it will go in moderation until I look at it. I have it set at only one link. So next time just wait it out. ;)

  • I’ve lost probably a 1,000 bookmarks due to various transfers and comp. problems. I guess it has taught me to remember search terms, or actual site names or just be happy to expand into some other site…I’ll never see every site anyways…Figure there is about 3,000,000,000 sites or more.

HEROES! Yep that is pretty decent show. A little messy at times, with all the characters, but it keeps you wondering how it could end. (Likely disappoint.)

  • here’s mine

A whole week of being positive.… sounds positively positive.… and like far too much hard work.

  • Jason: I’ve had tons of trouble with Firefox over the last few moths and have installed and reinstalled it several times.
I’m hoping the show gets to the point this week, it has dragged on this season — for me.

Flame: It was wort a try.
