Giving war the 'fashionable', 'stylised', 'desirable' elements, and for recent collective memory, that would of course, mean the Iraq invasion, by now, well-acknowledged for the bad decision of political aggression it was. For all you know, the photograpehr was attempting some vague political statement, all the while getting paid buckets of money for it. I think the concept of paradox escapes a few good (?)men.
