As most of you know I am in Maryland doing interviews.
Late last night the company used for my internet here switched over from being Adelphia to being Comcast. It happened in a matter of seconds.
Now for some reason my Google home page loads rather strangely with everything listed vertically, and there are certain sites I can no longer access. ???????
It’s a conspiracy, started by conspirates, who set out to confuse the world with useless changes.
Actually it’s not a conspiracy, it’s a bankruptcy. Adelphia’s. Comcast bought it. I don’t have TV (so don’t have cable), but my mother and sister experienced the changeover some months ago. I guess they’re doing a little at a time (possibly coinciding with the expiration of old Adelphia cable contracts with towns). Lots of software/hardware glitches as various old converter boxes don’t work with the new provider’s signals etc. etc. etc. You’ll just have to complain, if it doesn’t fix itself in a day or so.
