Thoughts for New Years Eve Day

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

Please, I have read about the death of the former dictator in at least
three newspapers. I do not need to see it on a blog. The majority of
Americans still get their news from the same places they did ten years
ago, even if they now read them online, you are wasting your time.

Hitchens has to go, not because he uses studies not intended to prove his point to falsely prove his point, and then disregards them when
they don’t really prove his point; he is simply overused, not funny, rarely correct. it’s tedious to see him trying to
write things for the purpose of controversy, only to bore the livingtears out of those reading. Not only is this not provocative, it is not even mildly entertaining; similar to Jay Leno, if you know what I mean, just with an uglier dull edge.

My question for the new year.

We are fully capable of eliminating poverty, and illnesses from things like contaminated water, worldwide; we have been for a long time. Why haven’t we?

What is the excuse?

Those beings from that “other galaxy” are just sitting around waiting for us to let half the population die, and for more ice caps to melt, so they can float their boats, and then they are just gonna swoop on in here and take over the helm, and rightly so. We seem to be incompetent creatures.

I have an apartment full of guests; we are considering taking off to snowboard for New Year’s Eve. It’s green and warm here so it would require hours of travel; if I don’t see you prior to the special moment have a Happy New Year.

Addendum
: Due to the fact that the number of trails open is not equal to the expense we have bagged the mountain; we will end up in a warehouse in Baltimore instead.

Happy New Year.
