Forbes strikes out and contraception is the only answer.

I was walking the dark street; the depth of the darkness buffeted me.
The darkness woke me.
I was enveloped in — what felt like — freedom.
It was merely relief but momentarily it felt like freedom.

Does the human experience transcend logic?

Beats the hell out of me.

But at least now I know what “type” of people read Forbes .

This is the fixed article with some lame counter punch thing going on.

I’ve just read this rambling, completely without logic, crazy, “talk about wingbats” post at Renew America.

Contraception is not the Answer .

It gave me a severe headache, as that woman must know that the ” vaccine ” is preventative, and does not in any way encourage increased sexual activity, plan B is a life saver for some, and dear god women statistically pregnancy is more likely to cause pulmonary embolism is a younger women than the birth control pill.

She is right though men are emasculated and after reading such as that Forbes article, before it was revamped somewhat and after, my conclusion is that contraception is the only answer.

  • I don’t fear the darkness.

    It’s the light I can’t stand.

“The light, the light, I can’t stand the light!“
–quote by me when I was about eight-years-old

  • Oh lord, of course the human experience transcends logic :D We’re the oly animal built for both instinctual survival and the desire to circumvent it. C’mon…what other animal is known to kill out of jealousy, or to cry watching images flicker across a screen, or…

    Lol. I need more coffee.

I used to read Renew America every once and a while, but, well, it’s columns like this that are designed to simply pick fights settled a long time ago. Pro-lifers. Pfft.

  • Contraception is still a debate?…There should be a law that states people void
of logic should be ignored and left to do as they wish because they will anyways.

Some day our planet will be over populated, and none of it will matter. Unless
    the bug creatures evolve faster…

    I like blue M&M’s…red ones too…

  • I thought the counterpunch was o. k., actually. Although I would never blame women for the neglect afflicting families today, I don’t think it’s a good idea for us to close our eyes to it.

  • The Human Experience, theoretically does not, at least I don’t think so.

“Renew America” drives me crazy, most of what I’ve
    read there defies logic.

I think Forbes made a boo, boo and tried to correct is later the best they could.

    Didn’t work.

  • The gin looks good.

    ha ha Renew America.

I can’t imagine ending up with some totally stupid chick just to make myself feel better or whatever it is that article was trying to say.

That there are men who think like that is pretty well known.

  • Over 30K a year? Here that’s at least 85% of women who work

Stupid article. Read it. But I know many men who bitch about their non-working wives, and then when the wife gets a job bitch even more.

Know more husbands and wives who are proud of each others accomplishment – whether one, of either sex, stays home or not.

  • Well he’s right that there’s a problem. It’s his solution that is utter bullshit. The real solution is not to sweat the fucking stupid things like that. I think men are emasculated mostly because we have done nothing to adapt to feminism. Yeah. That’s our fault.

Yeah I need a drink too

  • I love how for some people negative reinforcement is the answer. Before you know it, orgasms will be outlawed because once someone has one they’re more likely to have more sex. Bah.

The thing with feminism is the bipolarity of it. Some women still want chivalry and some women want to be independent. When will we all just figure taht each person is different and to determine what each person needs before trying to over-generalize? Oh right. Never.

Bombay Sapphire? I hear gin is the tonic of the plebes.

It was partly responsible for the French Revolution if you believe the hype.

    Viva la Revolution.

  • Time to start emptying birth control pills into the water supply. Meet me at
the reservoir, Coop…10PM…you grind ‘em up, I’ll dump ‘em in.

  • I think I’ll just go get a vasectomy tonight. That should take care of everything.

  • Never saw the original only heard about it. Nothing any old white collar worker couldn’t make up standard chauvinistic but in some sense true.
Men, if they can, will always take the upper hand in a relationship, they want the wife at home taking care of the kids, procreating and continually enchanted by their loutish persona. It’s not right but it’s true.

That gin looks fine; the birth control pills are a nice touch.

  • it does transcend logic

    too bad about Forbes

    cool picture

i notice the bottle is almost empty?

Not drunk is he who from the floor
    Can rise alone, and still drink more;
But drunk is he who prostrate lies,
Without the power to drink or rise.

  • Won’t read the article but I do like a good Cooper counterpunch. It was coincidence this week, but I notice I’m following you around on politics.

“Beats the hell out of me” was nice, by the way.

  • Does the human experience transcend logic?

    Don’t fear the darkness.

You know, we are pretty much enveloped in it and knee deep in shit these days… and these two little bits… comforting to my warped mind.

    Gracias and besos…

  • The subjective nature of the human experience makes it illogical.

    stupid forbes

I don’t care fro gin but that bottle makes me thirsty, nice touch with the pills.

Puts a strange picture thought in my head which I fear will not leave for some time.

  • was sure i responded to these at one point…humm

I’ll be back later to commento.

  • Thank god I am a lesbian. Contraception? Never heard of it. ;)

Dare you mention hurricanes in your next post while I am in FL??

  • Did it occur to you that turning comments off on a post in which people might disagree with you is a bit unfair?

I happen to agree with you on Hitchens — see that wasn’t so bad.

The Forbes piece may be annoying, but it happens to be the way of the world and Renew America is trying to preserve their country as they see it.

I think contraception is the answer too; I like the touch of gin.

    Nice knees.

    Did you miss me?

  • Okay I went to read the article… I read the first sentence of “standing on the front lines as a pro-lifer”… I stopped reading it… :)

Friday night I had a little drinky drink myself! :) :)

  • mojo: ha ha ; it figures.

jason: pfft — I think you need less coffee.

Bennett: of course it is a debate and yes people should do as they wish and leave everyone else alone.

weirsdo: families that are being neglected are being neglected by both men and women.

    jacob: no it didn’t

    ego: sadly so.

    pia: yea it was stupid.

wombat: to me their is no adapting just treat everyone the same.

dan: of course that once you have one the more often you will want sex — at least if it is a kick ass orgasm but.

Some women really do not know what they want because they have never been given the option, still today. Most women do not want chivalry they want respect, the same type of respect you would give any human being. If a women wants old fashioned chivalry you might want to run the other way. If she gets old fashioned chivalry she might want to run the other way as well.
Do you mean the Navy dudes or the common man?
I have no idea what the Navy guys drink.

    Viva la Revolution for sure.

    Dedd: Did I miss it?

    Coyote: it certainly would

joe : that is certainly a disheartening proclamation.

john; the first of the six bottles I got for my birthday.

Dawg: Aren’t Dogs supposed to follow their master around?

Oh Mizzy Bohem it is often so depressing the state of things and things to come.

    casey: sorry.…lol

leigh: i promise I won’t. I thank god you’re a lesbian too, just in case.

randy: sometimes a post is not worth commenting on and I need a break and people need a break from commenting on about nothing significant.

    No

    Shayna: lol,
