Immature Thursday — Coulter

First of all no more on “Annie that got a gun” — every time she writes a book and starts her interviews we give her countless pages and hours of publicity; we even watch the cable news show we hate just to see her spew forth bilious commentary on things she is not really in any position to speak on.

The cure for Ann Coulter is to ignore her.

Coulter is old news, she does not make policy, she does not even influence that many people — all but the staunchest conservatives know she is a psychotic bag of air, she is a joke, an ex constitutional lawyer who needs to read the constitution and eat a few good meals.

Quick Links, stuff that I am not going to bother to write about because it has already been written  better than I could hope to.

Feministing:In post called, Are we Finger Fucked, regarding the approval of Gardasil (the vaccine against many types of HPV) by the FDA, pointing out that it is only half the battle, if that, in this war.

Pia: And What the Hell have I been Doing.

Stephanie with her choreopoem; she won the 2006  Barbara E. Nicholson prize from the women’s studies department at Miami University for best undergraduate essay in gender studies for this so check it out.   “in(v)ertion,”.

  • Stop it, you’re making me laugh too much. I’m too passionate to laugh, remember.

Decided today I want to be the Ann Coutler of the left. Make totally stupid, judgemental statements that aren’t even well written — will give her best use of the word “harpie,” and get paid millions

Makes Maureen Dowd, who I think is brilliant on politics and sucks on women sound like a foremeost champion for all women.

Thank you for the mention, but I will read you any day

  • Agree on Coulter.

I’m going to link this “sophomoric poem” because I prefer soccer.

We all know what’s going on there.

The catchy “finger fucked” title should get them a lot of reads .

Can absolutely imagine it not being made a mandatory vaccine and you can bet that even if it is there are parents who will not give it to their daughters.

  • Good morning, thanks for the link. Great poem, just what I need to start off my work day. LMAO. Linked to Stephanie myself this morning and I urge all of you reading this post to go to her poem.

    Have a good day.

  • Hahahahaha! Poetic justice!

I agree about the blonde with the Adams Apple. Why bother?

  • The blonde with the Adma’s apple. ha ha

It’llbe interesting to see what the recommendations are for the hpv vaccine.

Your poetry gets better every day. ha ha ha

  • they are innocent you know.

  • pia: i’m always good for a laugh.

john: soccer — meh. We’ll see on the other.

brian: ya Stephanie’s poem is great

    Dawg: poetic justice it is

    jacob: ha ha

callmerandy: innocent of some things .…possibly.…guilty of other things.….certainly.

  • Well done

I’m probably done writing about her, too. But she gets way too much mainstream recognition to be completely ignored.

The Medical editor on my local news station didn’t really make a single comment on the objections to the hpv vaccine.

If it were made mandatory it would almost certainly bring forth a court case, and it looks like it won’t be made such for that very reason. For my part I think that such a case needs to take place.

  • OMG… I am LMAO at that poem… is it an original by Cooper?

as for Ann… I have never Bitched about her before until now… but youare right…
we should ignore the MEDIA WHORE… (did I say that out loud…oops)

Hope you have a fabulous family thing! :)

  • Liked your poem.
“Dr. Finger” would be hysterical if he didn’t have so much power.

  • I may have to use that poem simply because I have nothing to write and it made me laugh — in an innocent schoolboy kind of way — due to the delicate simplicity.

Fuck it I’m not a fucking poet and I’m just going to steal it and put it on my site for the weekend in real large letters. No one reads my site anyway so it won’t matter but it’s quite catchy. Maybe I could ask people to add on to it.
humm or would that be a copyright violation?

    “nowickedwitch” productions and all.

We need to take the power away from the fingers and give the power back to the people.;)

  • heh heh
    I like it.
