No Duke, No Darfur.

May 1st, 2006 by cooper

I’m back, I’m tired but a worthwhile weekend.

The speakers were good and the crowd was more than I would have expected, which is hopeful.

Besides that Obama is pretty cute. ;)

I think there is some gaining of ground in the activism department but what that translates into as far as real aid and real help in ending the genocide is all that matters in the end and that has yet to be determined.

Tomorrow is my last day of class before exams and Tuesday is reading day so I may have some time to scroll around and write real funky stuff and even read some.

If I haven’t mentioned, I’m proud that you went.

Eww.…I like the pascover thing.……so much less doggie like.

I’m proud of you for getting that letter out.

Alice, only for you would I have my one zillionth wp registration

Always proud of you. And what day in May is your birthday?

Pascover does look less doggie dooish – but I think we’re the only
    people who ever thought that

I made you an Empress – but Pascover only a Duke – just realized how that reads now – especially on your site

No, he’s the polar opposite of a Duke lacrosse player. Let me stop while people are still speaking to me.

I got my very first wp registration just for you, chica.

Good luck on your exams…I always looked forward to mine because
that meant school was out…although I did love being away at college.

Obama is one of my favorites. But I think I already said that.

I thought you were going to dissolve this sign — up when you returned so being lazy I didn’t comment on the last one.

I see it is still in place so I took the extra two minutes and signed up.

We have several ” reading days”, you get one?
    Good Luck.

So you got to meet Obama??

I wish I would have known, you could have used my name and received absolutely no special attention at all ;)

Glad you had a good time…

    Is site registration something new?

Pia: lol, I bow to you in your wp registratration mode. We won’t rub in too much doggie doo doo.

Patriotic Cowgirl: I think everyone needs a good wp registration. I never did it myself but then no one I read regularly requires them. It was just easier when I was away and has stopped a lot of spam.

robotman: yea well I didn’t take it away yet because I am ust as lazy and it had stopped spam.

Chris: I got to see him up close not meet him. lol The registration was put in place when I left for the weekend so that I wouldn’t have to come back and delete a ton of spam from my email. It also prevented the rare, but more so lately crude or downright obscene comments, that I would have to delete. I don’t care who comments just really obscene stuff , and I only got a few of those actually posted to the blog itself most comes in email , needed to be deleted right away and I was sick of thinking about it. I will maybe take it away in the future as I know people who are new to a blog never sign up– I never do– .
