Best pre­sent: Ethan sho­wed up unex­pec­tedly, and my best friend was back in town.
Oh, and reser­ved floor tic­kets for a jazz fest con­cert at Merri­weather Post this Satur­day from my bro.
I wor­ked all day today, but was kid­nap­ped at mid­night last night by a cou­ple of friends from here

Ashes on My Hair

The bon­fire drop­ped ashes on my hair
I didn’t care
The polish on my left little toe did not appear per­fect
I didn’t care
The waves I used to hear are splashing on some shore
I hear no more
My head spins with thoughts of mise­ra­ble peo­ple
