The “Darling Seed” — If I could just hide — The sinner inside

Thursday, April 27th, 2006

Until I return you have to register to comment. This is due mainly to real spam spam and Deb not wanting to have to come to the blog and delete too much foulness as the drive bys won’t bother. I’ll change it back when I return.

I’m leaving tomorrow for D.C. so I’ll be ” doing other things” this weekend.

I’ll miss you all, so do something useful will you.

I’ll be back later today to sing you a song or recite  you a poem. Who knows.

Go make a name for yourself.…those of you who do not already have a name that is.

On second thought… I have names for most of you so don’t bother.

Oh, my mother does not call everyone “darling” just me; she calls my brother “dear”. I have spend countless hours in conversation with my brother, making fun of my mother and dissecting the psychological implications and results of me being a darling and him being a dear.

Did I become subconsciously a “darling” and did the  planting of that horrific “darling” seed in my brain cause the severe discrepancy in the person I am and the person I want to be? What would have happened had I been called “dear” instead of “darling” and was it her way of subliminally putting me on a path she chose for me the day I was born. Will I be able to overcome the “mantel of darlingness” which was assigned to me and which I have carried around since birth?

to be continued except to say.….…

I am not as nice as I seem here or on your blogs when I commment.

I’m smarter though.

If I could just hide

The sinner inside

And keep him denied

How sweet life would be

If I could be free

From the sinner in me

Darfur: An Unforgiveable Hell on Earth

Links to Hell on Earth are reciprocated.

I’m adding this link to an article on the outcry for Darfur by the National Jewish News because although I have been posting about Darfur for some time I do post about the Duke lacrosse affair. I think the Duke Lacrosse affair is significant for many reasons and needs to be addressed.

There are some  vaild points in this article about the absence of some of the heavy weights in the fight for Darfur; the African Amercian Heavy wieghts. And by that I mean the folks who are good at showing up to take over the spotlight when the spotlight is already shining when it fits into their agenda and not unless.

I bet they come now.
