Mixed Bag of Goodies and Blog Against Racism

Quick Note:

Blog Against Racism Day is December 1st– if you would like to participate.Just throwing it out there; if youre interested you can go from there.

If you just feel like commenting on other peoples rants you can Google it and find many blogs out there taking a stab at it.

I myself will post my very slight opinion on racism — a day early — at the bottom of this post, this makes me slightly demeritorious, but I have a busy schedule tomorrow, so if you want to read my opinion ( and you do, you know you do) then you will have to read the whole post. Maybe yall are more comfortable talking about racism than you are about rape.

I know what you’re thinking. You’re thinking “she is not funny, interesting, poetic, witty, or clever any more; she is beginning to bore me with her incessant chatter on The Sudan and Rape and now Racism”. Oh well.

The comments for the last post were quite extensive so thanks to everyone who exhausted me with their commentary. I fear MJ has commented himself out for life after that one.

I apologize to those who found the song vulgar but it did help to make the point, and its only a stupid jingle. Its fine when a guy is heartily singing out (Jimmy “fake redneck” Buffet’s) Why Dont we Get Drunk and Screw but it is deplorable when a female blah blah blah. I think you got the point.….…... and my commission on the downloads, although paltry, will pay for a couple of needed espressos and that copy of Jesus Loves Me I downloaded from I Tunes.

Seriously though I cant really think of any thing funny or entertaining and Im in class or at least on my way so well later people.( ok Im out now )

Oh maybe a mildly amusing list of sorts for those with an underlying curiosity as to the person behind this nightmare called wonderland or not.

1.When Im bored or need a few minutes rest from school work and because I dont have time to paint any more I doodle paint while daydreaming of things I’d rather be doing.

2. Ive never given a blow job so please stop with the emails. Contrary to current news flashes there are some people who are saving their mouths for bigger and better things.

OK, I think Im done with that amusing crap.

Now on to racism:

Of course Im against racism. Most people you speak to with will tell you they are anti racism. Fact is many people are against it but are still racist. Many will point out a million facts and situations to disprove racism saying it is not racism but socioeconomics which causes the rift the divide the prejudices. That of course is nonsense. We have only to look to the Sudan to see that racism exists. Genocides are inexcusable, ignorance is not a factor as it is out there, unlike other genocides which took place in a time where a large part of the world was not originally privy to the information, we dont have that excuse. To blog against racism one must Blog against the genocide occurring in the Sudan. Without racism this would not be a tolerable genocide.

  • I know for a fact there is a service out there that if you enter in an e-mail address it will sign up that address for tons of spam lists.

Or just use that e-mail addy for a ton of free stuff lists. :)

  • I could try to say something but it wouldn’t be original… So I will let Mr. Lennon do the talking…

    Imagine

    Imagine there’s no heaven,
    It’s easy if you try,
    No hell below us,
    Above us only sky,
    Imagine all the people
    living for today…

    Imagine there’s no countries,
    It isnt hard to do,
Nothing to kill or die for,
    No religion too,
    Imagine all the people
    living life in peace…

    Imagine no possesions,
    I wonder if you can,
No need for greed or hunger,
    A brotherhood of man,
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world…

You may say Im a dreamer,
but Im not the only one,
I hope some day you’ll join us,
And the world will live as one.

  • I might give it a shot but at the very least I will check out some of the blogs writing on it. Thanks for the link.

I agree what is happening in the Sudan is a pretty overt sign of racism when you think of it.

1.Wish I could doodle so well. I take it your dreams involve jumping off mountains?

    2. I won’t comment on this one although there are many things running through my mind.

  • Lol…jeez, bored in class much ;) Yeah, hell day all around. Taking a break from NOT writing my annual review of professional activities.

    Wow, nice doodle painting :)

The offensive song lyrics? People got upset about that?

  • I will do a post on racism.

    thanks for the heads up.

    …and by the way…

I DO think that you are funny, interesting, poetic, witty, or clever.

you are NOT boring me with your chatter on the sudan and rape and now racism.

    keep up the good work.

    you rule.

    peace.

  • Blogs against racism.…Such purpose…

Such an attempt on my blog would be a complete waste of time.
I’m too busy finding ways to post new images of dog poop.

you’re one of those bitches who take and take and take and never give because you think you are intellectually superior to anyone you come in contact with.
You write a post about blow jobs and then you post some little quip about not giving them. You are what they call a tease so therefore your stance on rape makes a sense. You probably tease your boyfriends and then say no and then go off to your meetings to advance humanitarian causes
when the only humanitarian thing you need to do is learn to give a proper blow job.

  • anonymous… I got your “Blow Job”… bring it on you piece of *censored*!!! Again, you are one with no BALLS… you don’t have the courage to sign your name!!!

Already did a post this week on racism… I don’t know if I can think of to much to say on the topic… except “We have all been victims of it and we have all been guilty of it”…

“Contrary to current news flashes there are some people who are saving their mouths for bigger and better things.” Save on sister, save on… LOL!!!!

  • I’ve never given on either– we have so much in common.

Do you want me more, or do I want you more? Whaddya think?

  • “one” And that wasn’t a Freudian slickp

  • Chill out dude. You obviously are in need of one if you get that worked up over things that make sense. She has a very nice mouth and wants to keep it that way. She used to carry a toothbrush with her everywhere she went. Some people are just fussier than others.

Because I do not have a blog, and reside in a dead journal tenement which is rarely used, I will post in your comments.

Cooper that picture will come soon enough, it is snowing almost everywhere and I can’t wait.

Let us examine the term racism which simply means a prejudice against a certain race of people.
I cant figure out how one could take a race of people and as a whole dislike them. Sadly in some parts of the country, maybe more than we think, it is still quite prevalent.

My gf is a small Asian girl and I’m a tall blonde white boy of Danish decent; when traveling in a few different places over the last year there was an underlying attitude of, if not predjudice, confusion over why we would be together; much of this occurred in this country but some of it occurred in Europe over the summer. There is still an overall feeling by Caucasians that they in some way are superior to other races. This may come from their declining dollar syndrome or what I like to call fear of not being the coolest guy in the class. It does exist, it sucks, education is the only way to help alleviate it , education takes money, not everyone has money because some people live in poverty still and the chance of education is actually getting slimmer for the majority. Its a vicious cycle my friend.

  • Anon:

Wow, I thought I just finished scraping all the dogshit off my shoes, but obviously some landed inside your head. Nothing pisses me off more than some idiot with a stalker-like God complex. So not going down on somebody somehow makes another human being less of a human being? Jesus H. Buddha…that’s creepy.

It’s her blog, and she can post whatever the hell she wants to.

Sorry. Hope that wasn’t too harsh, Coop, anybody else.

  • Alice– Don’t listen to the hata’s, rude people, or those who generally like to poke fun at you and your viewpoint on life.
They hate anyone and everyone different from them.
I will post a blog on Racism.
    I am not a Hata’.
Hate on Hata’s Hate On. Hatred got you this far in life, Guess you think it will carry you further.
Get a clue Hata’ This country was founded on Freedom, not Hatred.
Hatred of any person or people as a whole is fundamentally wrong.
    Peace-WhatevA’
Alice, your not a Hata’, Props to you.

  • I was kind of hoping farting in bed would be next. You’re right of course. Things happen in Africa that would never be tolerated in Europe or Asia or America, unless someone with the bomb was doing it. Things are tolerated in parts Georgia that wouldn’t be tolerated in others unless someone with money was doing it. It’s funny how we talk about tolerating each other while tolerating what we do to each other too.

Oh, and I loved the doodle. Just can’t keep all the beauty in, can you?

  • I already put up my post for tonight through tomorrow, but tomorrow night I will post a picture of Diamonelle in her Valkyrie braids.
    Does that count?

  • old soul: ok but what are you talking about? Stay on topic please or go to the back of the class. I’m just kidding.

miz bohem: Love Lennon and good choice it works well.

bizman: Do check out the other blogs.

strider: thanks and great I’ll read it. Your place is pretty cool too and I heard you now have more room. lol

Bennett: I’m sure you are not the only one that feels that way.

non-a mouse– You’re right about one thing — woa– never mind — you’re not right about anything. I can totally see where you would see giving a blow job a a humanitarian event though.

zenpro: When I started it I was in between classes not in class.

It’s on my head.…ewwwww quick GET IF OFF.

Yea I shouldn’t have posted it but people get so bored when I post the other stuff I thought I’d post a little personal history to keep them entertained and to address (in a humorous way) all the blow job emails I got after the last post. My bad.

Make sure the dog shit is off my head will you…

Girl: ya that was a great post too you should sticky it up for tomorrow.

protagoras: I’m sure I want you more I just don’t know it yet.

Robotman: I do have a nice mouth, ah yes I remember that tenement well. Nice comment.

Doughboy: That could be a song
or sort of song.. hata’s hata’s– stay away –from my tomata’s..ah nevermind i have to go to bed.

Doug: I’m sorry to disappoint you that will be next if you really want it that badly. You know for you …anything.
That is about the crudest thing Ive ever seen you post.. heh heh

Weirdso: of course , that will be a significant contribution.

  • Anonymous: See, here’s the mistake you’re making. Alice is your intellectual superior. If you want a blowjob so bad, do it your fucking self. I hope you break your neck trying.

  • Alice: Once again you’ve put the common sense of the subject in terms so plain as to command the assent of anyone with even the merest cranial capacity.

  • I think it’s the second crudest thing I’ve ever posted, but I thought it would make you laugh. You know, for you anything. And no, I was teasing. Go ahead and do that post on tuberculosis you’ve been saving.

  • It’s been so busy, I didn’t read all your post — Just basically saw the snowboarding pic. What a fun day dream. Blog against racisim day huh? That would be today!

  • can’t we all just get along?

  • I didn’t know about Blog Against Racism Day. Damn. That’s what I get for not getting here fast enough. And Strider beat me to a comment here. Now I know I’m really behind! ;)

  • Yes…Here I am again a few hours later to repost yet another comment on this post because I’m spiteful and because I care somewhat…

I won’t argue your points from the previous because in all honesty I agreed with you but had not made myself clear and sent out the wrong message…So I’m sorry either way.

Racism is everywhere. I was raised in a town with no black people 20 minutes away from a town with majority black people but I’m assumed to be a rasist merely from being grown in geographical whitey bubble…

Obviously I don’t like it either but in all honesty I recieve more reverse racism because of my origin, and upbringing. Would I have issue with my sister marrying a black man or of any other race?..No. She’s a grown woman I’d hope would marry someone who doesn’t hurt her which whatever race.

Racism is inheriant by most all and surprizingly by those that defend anti-racism.

See if you ask anyone whether it mattered if Black people, Asians, or all races cared whether all racises became so mixed that only one race survived even the most die-hard anti-racist might scream many contradictions.…That’s the nature of life as it is.…Whose going to change the masses that refuse to listen?

  • Oh,…and if you refuse doing blow jobs, that’s cool.…

I’m more for equal rights, and having said that I love giving the right fems oral pleasure.

  • I was afraid this would deteriorate into this dear friend and I was going to say don’t debase yourself making silly comments about not giving blow jobs but that also is an attitude of a patriarchal society where women don’t talk about those things. Im not going to say it.

Instead I’ll say the fly is always open.
    Sorry had to do it.

Also going to say nice picture, dreaming of the board still and forever I see.

I’m late for blog for racism day but I’ll go around check some out and maybe comment. World aids day is today too sand I have an event to attend here on that.

    anti flag-long time no see

  • Racism is not, as some would have us believe, a natural state in which the cultures of the world stand to maintain their integrity. Racism is present and allows things like, as you already pointed out, the genocide in Darfur to go on. What happens to people different than us, and who could be more different than us then a race of black people living in a technological backward third world country, doesn’t matter to us because it doesnt affect us.

The degree to which people are prejudice is affected by the degree to which these people are different from them-both from the standpoint of where they live, what their nation has to offer, their culture, and their race-and indirectly affects whether people will pay attention to atrocities committed therein.

  • Dude… blog against racism. Sorry to nitpick but there’s a clear and unmistakeable difference.

  • I believe the driections stated.
“Blog Against Racism” day, in which people post something on the very broad and complex subject of racism. You don’t need to have a political blog to participate. Race, after all, affects almost every aspect of life in one way or another. Your post might be literary in nature, or historical, or concern current issues in need of political attention. You might take the opportunity to debunk scientific racism, or write poetry or essays about personal experiences, uplifting or depressing.”

    Pretty broad palette.

This was a comment not a post.

  • I’m against racism, but the problem is I recognize I have racist tendencies. I think it’s more upbringing than anything else, but I still catch myself totally judging people by their race. When I do catch myself, I try to correct the behavior, but I’m sure there are times where I don’t even notice I’m prejudiced.

We can’t all be perfect, but we can recognize that we are imperfect and strive to change it. That’s what I try to do when it comes to my prejudices including racism.

  • johnm: Gah. I’ve gotta really work on this “tongue in cheek” thing. I was trying to point out the humor in that you said “blog for racism,” which means something else alltogether, and maybe that was stupid anyways, so yeah…

My bad. I had no issue with what you said about racism. In fact I agree with all of what you said.

wombattyblindtotruthsir: Whoever you are, you really don’t need to hide from me. Also, “blind to truth?”

    Ouch.

  • eww wombatty you are getting on my good side rather quickly.

doug: what was the first? Honestly Doug Im taking the light road andposting about pubic hair; I’m not kidding so you can pass on that one if you must.

leigh: the life of a busy surfer, worker, student.…I understand.

Dedd: That picture goes very well with your request. Of course we can. ;)

sar: You two have to stop racing each other, I know how that brother and sister things is.

Bennett: well were gonna make em listen Bennett honey. And thanks for sharing. You’re ok.

johnny:ok, I have nothing to add to that. Wombat was kidding.

    wombat: kidding right?

mojo: In t perfect world those who have been brought up in an environment where racism is prevalent but feel it is wrong would , when proliferating, bring their children up differently. I can honestly say I come from a family where racism…if it did exist was not evident but I surely saw it around me. I grew up in a lot of places though.

wobattyblind to truth…whatever.. you have got to be someone that stalks wombat because i am the only one that calls him wombatty.

  • It’s not on a pizza is it? That scene from She’s All That was gross.

  • Not on pizza…on me or not..

    Oh sleep tight.

  • wombattyblindtotruth: Oh wait… you’re the same guy I told to auto-fellate aren’t you? Man, if you were expecting me acknoweldge your actual arguements as being worthy of discussion by responding to them then I have to say, I’m even less impressed by your intelligence than before. An that’s an accomplishment. So congrats. Now go eat some powdered bleach or something

If I’m wrong about your identity then the above does not apply to you, but seriously what’s the deal?

  • Racism is one of those things nobody wants to think of as being part of themselves. I don’t think I am racist, but how can I really know, growing up in a place that is 95% white, 3% hispanic, and 2% everybody else. Until I was in my teens, I had only met one non-white person in my life, and that was a girl from Africa who had been adopted by a white family.

Its scary to think something so evil as racism could be a part of yourself that has never come out. I keep an eye on myself just to be careful.

  • I will get off topic as much as i want to.

ICE CREAM. Prawn! Um Rap is dead! HA HA!

  • We are ALL guilty of the same sins. It just varies in degrees and the way it is expressed. Racism to one is normal in another culture.

We can reduce it to a minuscule speck but it will still be there. I’m not saying there ain’t no hope, it will just take a global/planetary paradigm shift to totally eradicate it.

First one to say he/she has not slandered anybody (verbally expressed or not) based on the color of their skin, religion, or race is welcome to “throw the first stone”.

    No one is innocent.

    Myself included.

oldsoul: and i will have to banish you from my sidebar…

tao: I haven’t slandered anybody by my definition of the word, which I get from the dictionary– which I know has it’s faults but still. My prejudices-and I have them– are not racial in nature… they do come from my experiences; in other words I am prejudice against lazy ass people who do nothing while others do all the work.. so every time I see a lazy ass person I dislike them.. every time i meet a racist I automatically am prejudice against him and can’t be bothered…so in a way I guess I am prejudice.

  • Not gonna lie-I didn’t read the whole post or any of the comments-It’s 12:15 AM and I am tired but I felt like I had to catch up some. You said “Fact is many people are against it but are still racist.” That is one of the most true and clear messages I have ever heard and I just wanted to compliment you on it. I have, in my lifetime, thought and said many prejudice and racist things, and somtimes bad words and thoughts come into my head to this day-but I keep my mouth shut and keep reminding myself it is wrong, and that’s not the person I want to be. I guess thats all we can do, or atleast what I am doing.

  • Check into that judge who thinks the 17-year-old invited her boyfriend and his pals to assault her and then filed rape charges on a whim. I bet he’s the one who sends you the blow job e-mail offers.

  • Nice blog. I too have a blog about tropical fish Please visit it and take a look
